At The Regent Secondary School, we are proud of our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities, which foster an environment where students can excel both academically and personally. Following the British curriculum, we are unwavering in our commitment to academic excellence, and our students consistently achieve some of the best IGCSE outcomes in Nigeria. Yet we believe firmly in educating the whole person — ensuring our students excel in the classroom while also developing into confident, well-rounded individuals, ready for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

As part of the Regent family, The Regent Secondary School offers students the benefits of an all-through education, with continuity of philosophy and ethos from early childhood through to secondary school. This consistency underpins both academic success and personal growth, and it is reflected in the strong sense of community that defines life at Regent.

My own philosophy as an educator rests on three principles: rigorous academic standards, safeguarding and pastoral care at the heart of every decision, and the building of genuine, inclusive communities in which every student can thrive, whatever their starting point. These are not new ideas for Regent — they are principles already embedded in this school’s culture and its outstanding reputation — and it is this shared foundation that I am proud to build upon, working alongside our staff, students and families to take the school even further.

We believe in nurturing responsible global citizens. Through outreach programmes, community service and a genuinely vibrant school community, our students learn the value of leadership, empathy and giving back, developing into young people prepared to contribute to Nigeria and to the wider world.

A website can only offer a glimpse of what The Regent Secondary School is about. I would encourage you to visit in person, and to experience for yourself the warmth, ambition and sense of community that define this school.

I look forward to welcoming you to our school.
