Summary of IGCSE Results

It is with great pride that The Regent Secondary School presents the Cambridge IGCSE Examination results of our accomplished ‘Class of 2017’.

Of the sixty-seven students who sat the IGCSE examinations, five students achieved a full set of either A* or A grades. They were: Fiyinfoluwa Kolawole – 8 A*s and 2 As; Nsah Roy Kongnyuy – 7 A*s and 1 A; Jessica Eruwun Uviovo – 6 A*s and 3 As; Khadijat Mammy Mustapha – 3 A*s and 6 As;  Olisehemeka Daniel Chukwuma  – 1 A* and 8 As.

The following top achievers are to be congratulated for scoring at least four A*s and/or As:

Warmest congratulations to all the students listed above, and to the class in general!  The students, their parents, teachers, and the Board of Directors can be justly proud!

Overall, “The Class of 2017” achieved excellent results. 97% percent of the students earned an A*, A or B grade. With a significant rise in the average number of subjects offered by our candidates, a remarkable 90 % of them achieved A* to C grades in 5 subjects or more. More than one-third of the total number of grades achieved were A*s and A grades, with an amassed total of these elite grades surpassing that of any previous set of results. 

The Regent Secondary School community is rightfully proud of the achievements of the Class of 2017. In an environment where we focus on providing a wholistic education, our pupils undoubtedly excel in the field of academics. The impressive results of our students justify their consistent quest for excellence achieved through hard work. We acknowledge and congratulate our diligent academic staff and parents for the stellar role they played in ensuring that all pupils work towards realising their full potential.
