The Regent Secondary School is modeled on the National Curriculum for England and Wales.

This curriculum provides opportunities for students to study the broadest possible range of subjects and to acquire a variety of important practical and academic skills.  At the end of Year 9, our students sit Cambridge International Examinations ‘CheckPoint’ in English, Mathematics and Science, providing the school with a useful benchmark in assessing students’ progress. Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 all study English, Mathematics, Science, French, Art and Design, Music, Physical Education, Information and Communication Technology, History, Geography, Drama, PSHE and Nigerian Studies.

At the end of Year 11 students will sit the prestigious and internationally recognised IGCSE examinations conducted by the Cambridge International Examinations. Students normally sit these in eight or nine subjects which could include: English Language, English Literature, Drama, Mathematics, Coordinated Science, French, Art and Design, Music, Physical Education, Information and Communication Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Environmental Management, Geography, Accounting, Economics and Business Studies.

Please note that we do not offer the Nigerian curriculum or any Nigerian examinations.
